Job summary

Fire Fighter Sales and Svcs Co. is seeking an entry-level Accounting Administrator to support the Finance Department with AR and AP tasks. Training will be provided, and there are growth opportunities within the accounting team.

The role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn basic accounting processes. Part-time schedule of 24 hours per week with a professional, business-casual office environment in Warrendale, PA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years of accounting or administrative experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day Accounts Receivable (AR) activities: prepare and send customer invoices, post customer payments, monitor aging, respond to basic inquiries, maintain files, and support month-end AR tasks.
• Assist Accounts Payable (AP): enter vendor invoices, match to POs, assist with check runs and electronic payments, maintain vendor records, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Provide general administrative and accounting support: maintain digital/paper records, data entry, basic reconciliations, and assist with month-end/year-end close.
