Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace Corporation is seeking a Laminator I in Sumner, WA to perform lamination of composite components following SWI and manufacturing plans. The role involves laying up materials on mandrels, verifying documentation and parts, and meeting takt times under supervision.

Entry to junior level with on-the-job training in a manufacturing environment. The position reports to Production Supervisor and resides in the Production department.

Qualifications

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity for precise laminating work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to SWI and processes.
• Good interpersonal skills to work with teammates and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and SWI instructions.
• Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Verify materials used are according to the manufacturing plan and confirm part IDs are correct.
• Adhere to schedules, takt time, and production requirements while maintaining quality.
