Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace in Renton, WA is seeking a Laminator for the 2nd shift (3:00PM–1:30AM). You will laminate composite aerospace parts according to drawings and SWI, ensuring quality and adherence to production plans.

The role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Pre-employment screenings apply, with strong safety and quality focus required.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, or other hands-on experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with your hands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI); wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
• Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
• Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
• Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
• Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
