Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace is seeking a Weekend Shift Laminator I in Sumner, WA to laminate composite components per drawings and SWIs. The role requires attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and adherence to production schedules.

The position offers pay ranging from $22.25 to $26.25 per hour, full-time hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, life and AD&D insurance, 401(k) with employer match, tuition reimbursement, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience in composite manufacturing a plus.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and follow demonstrated steps.
• Basic understanding of process specifications.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI); wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts.
• Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor.
• Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan.
• Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed.
• Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.
