Job summary

Collins Aerospace Carbon Operations in Spokane, WA is seeking an entry-level Finishing Technician I to learn setup, calibration, and operation of automated chemical application equipment used on carbon brakes. You’ll perform manual applications and use automated riveting equipment, with on-the-job training through a defined progression.

In this role you’ll work in a rotating 12-hour shift, enjoy overtime, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, 401(k)

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• U.S. person eligible to work in the U.S.
• Manufacturing or similar industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to support engineering and other groups on technical matters.
• Follow engineering instructions, procedures, and department SOPs.
• Monitor processes and perform quality checks.
• Verify final parts meet print.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety procedures.
• Comply with company policies and participate in Continuous Improvement.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Use basic to intermediate computer skills for data entry and process monitoring.
