Job summary

Collins Aerospace - Pueblo site, Colorado is a dynamic carbon brake machining operation. We create and ship out new carbon for aviation braking systems. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving the Refurbishment processes and equipment, including active involvement in safety metrics, CORE initiatives, and improving process quality.

You will supervise several support and production personnel. This onsite role works at the Pueblo, Colorado Facility with a 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience in managing and supervising operations teams in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Continuous improvement tools (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc)

Responsibilities

• Lead Refurbishment team to meet customer needs with high standards and engagement.
• Monitor key process parameters and take appropriate action.
• Perform statistical analyses to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Work with engineers to improve equipment, processes, safety, and cost savings.
• Supervise several support staff and production personnel.
• Drive CORE (Lean) manufacturing processes through flow and automation improvements.
• Oversee projects and monitor production requirements.
