Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a highly motivated entry-level Electrical Engineer to join the Computing Products Department within the Displays, Controls, Computing & Networking Engineering (DCCN) directorate. This onsite role supports hardware development lifecycle across pursuit, design, integration, verification, and factory transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Understanding of engineering digital circuit design concepts
• Familiarity with the development and design of electronic circuit, and/or multi‑assembly system/unit design
• Desire to perform hands‑on troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• You will collaborate with senior engineers to design, analyze, simulate and test Circuit Card Assemblies for Avionics Computers (Processors, FPGAs, Memory, high-speed interfaces).
• You will operate lab equipment to perform integration testing on hardware designs.
• You will work on schematic capture of digital/analog mixed signal electrical circuit designs.
