Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. at Fort Benning, GA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a busy service team and learn to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems. This entry-level role supports tire and vehicle maintenance tasks with on-the-job training.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire maintenance, installing batteries and suspensions, and road testing vehicles. Valid driver’s license is required; prior automotive service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Reading, writing and math skills.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes and cooling.
• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install tires, batteries, shock absorbers and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles to ensure proper operation.
