Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. in Nashville, TN seeks an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join a team servicing vehicles. Full and part-time benefits are available from day one, including tool program discounts.

Pay range: $12.54–$18.81 per hour with Bridgestone’s commitment to fair compensation. You will diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, perform oil changes and routine maintenance, install tires, batteries, and check electrical components along with road testing vehicles.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
