We are currently seeking an entrepreneurially minded Regional Director (RD) to lead our business development efforts to grow our client base and team of CFOs in the New York Tri-state area.

Do you have the mindset of a CEO plus a background as a CFO, a significant understanding of business finance, preferably with a proven track record in sales and business development? The ideal candidate will be energetic, self-driven and motivated by a sense of purpose and contribution to help ambitious $2-$100M revenue businesses succeed. You thrive on building meaningful relationships that will help you build a team like minded of fractional Chief Financial Officers dedicated to delivering exceptional client experience and value.

The role combines the benefits of being part of a local, national and international team with strong marketing support operating within a defined business model while at the same time offering a level of autonomy and freedom in how results are delivered.

Your role will involve close collaboration with our Managing Director and our national team of Regional Directors in the US. In addition, you will leverage your network and exceptional relationship building skills to drive success in expanding our client base and CFO team in the New York City area, while also delivering CFO services to clients yourself.

In the first year of the role, 40% of the time can be spent on delivering CFO services while the remainder of your time will be fully focused on driving clients to the business, building the team and nurturing relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Delivery of CFO services to small and mid-tier clients while also actively seeking and capitalizing on opportunities to expand our market presence and increase revenue streams.
  • Drive the negotiation and execution of client contracts to establish lucrative new business ventures and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement growth-oriented strategies that align with our organizational objectives, leveraging market insights and industry trends to drive sustainable sales growth.
  • Cultivate and nurture client relationships to ensure satisfaction, maximize sales opportunities, and client retention by leveraging a proven track record of successful account management.
  • Analyze regional performance metrics and market trends to identify areas for improvement and devise actionable plans to optimize sales performance.
  • Build and mentor a team of experienced fractional CFOs across the New York Tri-state region, with a primary focus on delivering exceptional client experience and driving sales growth.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and enhance sales effectiveness.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Solid commercial background, preferably with a proven record in developing new business.
  • At least 5 years CFO experience.
  • You are highly networked and love to meet new people, develop business and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, adept at building lasting relationships.
  • A track record of success in consistently surpassing sales targets
  • Demonstrable ability to align with the Company’s Purpose and Culture.
  • Long term account management approach with proven success in consultative selling
  • Proven capability to engage and influence CEOs and business owners.
  • Team-oriented mindset, skilled in leading and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • Energetic, motivated, and proactive approach to tasks.

This is a remote based 1099 role, but you must live within the New York City area.
