Job summary

DoubleTree Salt Lake City is seeking a friendly food server to provide outstanding service to our guests in a professional manner. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a memorable dining experience in alignment with hotel standards.

Ideal candidates have 6 months of experience in food service, strong English communication, and the ability to work varied shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• US work authorization required.
• Minimum 6 months experience as food server in a similar setting.
• Working knowledge of a POS system.
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to communicate in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with standards.
• Answer questions about food, beverages, and facilities.
• Deliver items to tables in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, recipes and hotel products.
• Ensure guest safety and sanitation best practices.
• Attend mandatory department and hotel meetings.
• Work the hours 6am-2pm and 4pm-12am, including some weekends.
