Job summary

Creative Artists Agency is seeking a Trust Accounting Associate in New York City. The role focuses on invoicing, collections, data entry, and customized Excel reporting to support decisions in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle month-end close for accounts receivable, perform billing adjustments, and maintain strong communication with agents, managers, attorneys, and the trust department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and accounting or finance exposure is expected.
• Experience reconciling accounts, statements, and resolving discrepancies.
• Entertainment industry experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Maintain unimpeachable integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and bookings to ensure correct data in the accounting system.
• Investigate held checks or wires with client teams to submit missing bookings.
• Assist agents and assistants with booking report submission questions.
• Perform month-end close tasks for A/R and book revenue per policy.
• Process monthly billing adjustments and respond to questions/discrepancies.
• Identify past-due balances while maintaining client relationships.
• Coordinate with agents, managers, attorneys, studio contacts and trust department.
• Support with special projects and process-improvement initiatives.
