United Talent Agency is seeking an experienced Associate, Client Accounting to join its Finance Client Accounting team. This remote role serves as the point person for accounting matters within the assigned department and works with agents and assistants to capture timely, GAAP-compliant booking data.

You will review new bookings, modify data for updated dates, generate invoices, monitor payments, and provide reporting to forecasting and collections.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Entertainment experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Aufgaben

• Meet with assigned agents regularly and their assistants to ensure booking data is complete and accurate.
• Enter and maintain client bookings, reviewing data for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and follow up on outstanding invoices and confirm payment status.
• Coordinate with clients on commissions and payments.
• Ensure client payments are collected and processed in a timely and compliant manner.
• Serve as a liaison between clients, agents, and managers for accounting matters.
• Handle client accounting inquiries about invoices, statements, debits, and payments.
• Coordinate with other companies to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Provide regular reporting to managers to support forecasting and collections.
• Apply accrual accounting knowledge to improve booking, billing, and payment processes.
• Build long-term relationships with stakeholders and assist with ad hoc projects.
