Job summary

Cast & Crew is seeking a Product Solutionist to be the technical backbone of the sales motion across film, television, and live entertainment. This role blends deep product expertise with client instincts, including discovery, demos, and answering hard questions in the room.

You’ll translate payroll infrastructure and digital workflows into language for a production CFO and an on-set PA, leading meetings solo or with a sales AE. Based in NY/NJ with on-site client visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a pre-sales, solutions consulting, sales engineering, technical account management, or client-facing implementation role, ideally in a SaaS environment.
• Track record of running product demonstrations, managing complex RFP responses, and influencing deals through technical credibility.
• Experience with entertainment industry payroll, production finance, digital onboarding, or employer-of-record services is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales AEs across the full revenue cycle — from discovery and demo through proposal, objection handling, and close — as the product expert in the room.
• Lead tailored product demonstrations that connect Cast & Crew’s capabilities directly to each prospect’s operational reality and pain points.
• Run consultative discovery sessions to understand client workflows, surface unmet needs, and build solution recommendations grounded in real product capability.
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with accurate, well-positioned content that moves deals forward.
• Engage the existing client base in an advisory capacity — identifying expansion opportunities, reinforcing adoption, and surfacing product gaps back to the business.
• Bring structured voice-of-the-customer insights from the field to Product and Marketing teams to inform roadmap prioritization and go-to-market positioning.
• Represent Cast & Crew at industry events, trade shows, and client engagements across the New York and New Jersey market.
