Main Event Entertainment is a family-friendly entertainment venue in Baton Rouge seeking a skilled Technician to maintain and repair games, tellers, and pinsetters. You will handle electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, keep inventory, and ensure safety standards while delivering great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork is essential.
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems supporting the business.
• General knowledge of repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games.
• Practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use tools for work.
• Ability to work on ladders and handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to wear PPE.
• Excellent communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components or parts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Order supplies, tools, and materials as needed.
• Keep the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Greet and engage guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Participate in paid on-the-job training.
