Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Technician to maintain and repair games and entertainment systems, ensuring safety and high standards. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot, manage inventory, and assist with supplies while engaging guests as a FUN ambassador.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.

• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business.
• General knowledge/skill set on repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games.
• Skilled in electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use tools to perform work.
• Ability to perform work on ladders.
• Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
• Effective communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed.
• Keeping the mechanic shop and facility organized and clean.
• Upholding safety and sanitation standards.
• Engaging with guests as a FUN ambassador.
• On-the-job training provided.
