Qualifications

• College graduate with accounting/finance degree preferred.
• 1-2 years’ accounting experience in an office environment; entertainment/high net worth clients preferred.
• Ability to read P&Ls and Balance Sheets.
• Experience with accrual accounting.
• Understanding of non-profit chart of accounts and tax work helpful.
• Excellent verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping: accounts payable, accounts receivable, transfers, reconciling accounts / credit cards, and journal entries.
• Banking: learning our banking system and taking charge of making payments timely, getting approvals, and saving down correct corresponding support. Filing paperwork to open new accounts.
• Administrative tasks: answering phones, emails, making copies and scanning documents in proper client folders.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and their teams.
• Many other special projects as needed.
