Job summary

Network Controls, LLC is seeking an experienced Wireless Survey & Fortinet Network Specialist to perform on-site Wi-Fi heat mapping, predictive surveys, and Fortinet FortiGate configuration. You will design networks to support accurate quoting and assist field teams throughout installations.

The role requires Ekahau training, Fortinet experience, and strong customer service skills. Some travel is expected; this is an hourly position with overtime potential and a shift differential for

Qualifications

• Formal Ekahau training or certification required (ECSE preferred).
• Experience with wireless heat mapping and site surveys.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise Wi‑Fi environments.
• Hands-on Fortinet FortiGate configuration including site-to-site IPsec VPN.
• Experience with firewall policies, NAT, and Fortinet SD-WAN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site Wi-Fi heat mapping and predictive surveys using Ekahau Pro and hardware.
• Analyze results to identify coverage gaps and performance issues.
• Design wireless networks to support accurate job quoting and materialization of scopes.
• Support field teams during implementation and participate in installations as needed.
• Troubleshoot Wi‑Fi connectivity issues and document findings for corrective action.
