Job summary

Komatsu seeks a UX Strategy Manager to lead a team of UX researchers and designers, owning the overall UX vision across digital products including websites, fleet management, eCommerce, and training platforms. The role requires proactive leadership, collaboration with executives, and a focus on improving customer experience and online sales.

You will drive backlog prioritization, partner with product management, and evangelize UX best practices through research and testing to align diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, UI Design or related field
• Minimum of 7 years leading UX/UI teams
• Minimum of 7 years designing mobile-friendly, responsive B2B/B2C eCommerce websites
• Strong portfolio of large-scale digital redesigns
• Experience with usability testing
• Experience with web front-end development (HTML/CSS)
• Experience presenting to senior executives

Responsibilities

• Own the design and experience of websites and digital products within the Digital Office scope
• Lead, coach, and inspire a multidisciplinary UX/UI team
• Define and develop the big-picture UX/UI strategy with executives/product management
• Proactively own the UX team backlog and roadmap
• Create UX discovery plans and stakeholder workshops
• Own a federated design system for brand consistency and unification
• Establish best practices for user research and testing
