Vamonos IT is seeking a Unified Communications Solutions Architect / Automation Engineer on-site in Camp Springs, MD. This role leads architecture, implementation, and automation of Enterprise UC services for a U.S.

Government Agency, combining deep UC expertise with hands-on PowerShell and Power Platform work. The ideal candidate will design reliable UC architectures, develop PowerShell automations, REST integrations, and analytics dashboards, and provide guidance to technical teams and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CS/MIS or related field with extensive UC experience.
• 5+ years leading UC initiatives in large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco UC suite and collaboration tools.
• Experience automating Microsoft 365 and UC environments.
• Strong scripting and API integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, implementation, and operation of Enterprise UC services.
• Design highly available UC architectures for mission-critical use.
• Provide Tier 3 UC troubleshooting and performance management.
• Integrate UC with other enterprise platforms.
• Develop PowerShell automation for UC, Teams, 365, Entra ID/AD, reporting, provisioning, monitoring.
• Build automation using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse.
• Identify manual processes and implement automated workflows.
• Develop REST integrations and build monitoring, alerting, remediation capabilities.
• Maintain architecture diagrams, docs, and implementation plans.
• Provide guidance and briefings to customers and technical teams.
