The role focuses on building robust object architectures, scripting automation, agent health, and change deployment using Transport Cases, with on-call support for production incidents and RCA enhancements.

Qualifications

5+ years dedicated experience administering and engineering Broadcom Automic Automation (UC4 v12 or higher).
Deep expertise in Automic Automation Engine, Automic Web Interface (AWI), Scripting Language, agent administration, and Transport Cases.
Solid working proficiency in z/OS JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JES2 commands, and standard IBM batch utilities.
Familiarity with UNIX/Linux shell scripting, Windows batch/PowerShell, and distributed OS agent troubleshooting.
Working experience in enterprise ITIL incident and change workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, automate, and maintain enterprise UC4 objects (WORKP, JOBS, CALE, EVNT, SYNC).
Develop Automic scripting for conditional branching, runtime variable passing, and dynamic scheduling.
Configure UC4 agents across z/OS, UNIX/Linux, and Windows; monitor AE performance and queue health.
Package, validate, and promote scheduling objects across DEV/TEST/PROD using Transport Cases and version control.
Provide Tier2/3 escalation for production abends and perform RCA to prevent recurrence.
