Markel Corporation in Richmond, VA, seeks a Training & Development Manager to lead learning and enablement across enterprise transformation efforts within the Change Management Office. You will design strategies, develop curricula, and deliver programs that drive adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.

You will partner with leaders and project teams to identify learning needs, measure effectiveness, and continuously improve learning assets while leveraging AI-enabled tools and MS

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Change Management, or Organizational Effectiveness.
• Proven experience leading learning and enablement efforts for large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Strong instructional design, curriculum development, eLearning, job aids, and performance support assets.
• Coupled with strong facilitation, presentation, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning and enablement strategies for enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Develop curricula, learning paths, eLearning modules, and performance support resources.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, hybrid, and train-the-trainer programs.
• Measure training effectiveness and adoption outcomes; drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Change Management, Operations, Product, Technology, and Business teams to integrate learning into projects.
