Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Training Manager to deliver and reinforce enterprise-wide training for ESA Company Owned and Franchise hotels. You will serve as a subject matter expert, sharing curriculum changes, learning metrics, and resources, while facilitating in person or virtual sessions and representing the ESA brand.

The role requires 2+ years as a trainer in hospitality, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple programs within budget.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent in experience.
• 2+ years as a facilitator of enterprise learning programs, preferably in Hotel Operations or service-related industry
• Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions and operate electronic learning systems.
• Proven ability to effectively write, teach and communicate procedures, policies, and standards.
• Demonstrate adult learning training methods across various audience types and group sizes; 1-on-1 to 50+ in-person and virtually.
• Ability to organize multiple projects; manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong influence skills and Emotional Intelligence to build effective working relationships.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word)
• Experience with virtual delivery platforms (Zoom, Teams, LMS, Classroom)

Responsibilities

• Deliver enterprise training programs and certifications (in-person or virtual).
• Share updates on learning metrics and curricula updates.
• Reinforce training resources and job aids for performance gaps.
• Support brand ambassadors for Franchise hotels with training needs.
• Maintain SME level knowledge on training programs, processes and systems.
• Manage program planning within ESA policies and budget guidance.
• Communicate proactively and stay up-to-date with processes and communications.
• Perform other duties as needed.
