Job summary

Gateway Fiber is seeking an Enterprise Systems Project Manager in the Greater St. Louis area to lead planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional system initiatives. This hybrid role combines project leadership with system administration and business-process alignment to ensure reliable platforms and data integrity.

You will drive requirements, coordinate with vendors and teams, and create SOPs to ensure consistent adoption and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading system-driven projects from planning through execution (scope, timelines, risk management, and communication).
  • Experience working with business systems (OSS/BSS, CRM, communications, or similar platforms).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with system configuration, administration, and workflow management.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead system-related projects end-to-end, including scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.

This role serves as the driver of cross functional system projects, ensuring implementations, enhancements, and process improvements are delivered on time, aligned with business needs, and fully adopted. In addition to project leadership, this role maintains hands-on ownership of key business systems, ensuring platforms are reliable, well-configured, and continuously improved to support operations. This is a hybrid role combining project management, system administration, and business process alignment. The Enterprise Systems Project Manager is expected to contribute in the following significant ways:Lead system-related projects end-to-end, including scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communicationDrive cross-functional coordination across business teams, vendors, and technical resourcesEnsure successful delivery through clear requirements, strong documentation, and smooth rollout/adoptionMaintain project visibility via status reporting, updates, and stakeholder communicationPartner with business stakeholders to understand goals, workflows, and pain pointsTranslate business needs into actionable system requirements and solutionsIdentify and drive improvements in processes, automation, and system performanceServe as system owner for assigned platforms, including configuration, access management, and supportEnsure system reliability, data integrity, and effective issue resolution in coordination with vendorsLead post-implementation support, performance monitoring, and continuous improvementCreate and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and system standards to ensure consistency and adoptionWhat you’ll bring to the table:Proven experience leading system-driven projects from planning through execution (scope, timelines, risk management, and communication)Experience working with business systems (OSS/BSS, CRM, communications, or similar platforms)Ability to translate business requirements into practical system solutionsHands-on experience with system configuration, administration, and workflow managementStrong analytical skills, including ability to extract, manage, and interpret data across systemsDemonstrated intellectual curiosity by questioning assumptions, exploring new technologies, and continuously learning to drive system improvements and innovation.Experience supporting reporting needs, including creating and maintaining reportsHigh attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrityExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills across diverse stakeholdersProven ability to create SOPs, process documentation, and system standardsProficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel for managing large datasets)An associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System or Business Administration or a closely related field, or equivalent experience preferred.Ability to work with a team or independently and make sound decisions.Ability to sit or stand while working for extended periods.
