Job summary

Busey seeks an Enterprise Project Manager II to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that align with our strategic objectives. You will govern project management practices, coordinate with business units, technology, risk, and executives, and drive on-time, on-scope delivery while managing risks.

You will also assist with enterprise-wide integrations, planning, budgeting, and governance, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-scale projects in financial services or banking.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and communicate clearly.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, risk, compliance, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of large-scale enterprise projects across initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.
• Allocate PM tools and resources to ensure optimal utilization and alignment with priorities.
• Establish clear expectations, roles, and accountability for project teams.
• Partner with leadership to align portfolios with strategic objectives and priorities.
• Ensure consistent application of project management methodologies, standards, tools and governance.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across business units, IT, operations, risk, compliance, and vendors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate critical concerns to leadership.
• Provide regular updates on project health, milestones, and outcomes to executives.
• Manage scope changes through formal change control processes.
• Drive continuous improvement by refining PM processes and governance.
• Ensure initiatives comply with banking regulations and internal policies.
• Assist with EPMO reporting and process needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
