Amentum seeks an Enterprise System Engineer to support NASA programs with systems engineering, architecture, and operations. This hybrid IT role covers cloud‑native development, IaC and AI‑driven workflows, and requires coordination across NMC teams and customers.

The position emphasizes artifact management, design reviews, and compliance, with a strong focus on digital engineering tools and modern DevOps practices to enable mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a related field, or relevant experience.
• Experience in computer science, Python, C++, JavaScript, JSNode, SQL, NoSQL, machine learning, software development, object‑oriented programming, and system requirements management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the NMC Chief Engineer and Chief Architect on SFDR package and artifacts.
• Track and manage design review feedback and lifecycle documents.
• Advise on tailoring and compliance of NASA 7XXX series.
• Lead standardization and versioning of system artifacts and drawings.
• Coordinate technical trade‑studies and best practices for engineering processes.
• Integrate artifacts with customer processes across teams.
