Job summary

Advanced Space is seeking a Systems Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to support a growing portfolio of space missions. You will work across the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and operations, influencing mission success.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on subsystems such as GNC, ADCS, EPS, and propulsion, and contribute to MBSE practices and future mission studies. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of systems engineering, spacecraft development, mission design, flight or ground systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Systems/Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support mission and systems engineering development across the lifecycle.
• Develop, document, and manage system requirements with verification/validation focus.
• Support system integration, verification, testing, and milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Contribute to spacecraft design and trade studies across subsystems (communications, GNC, ADCS, propulsion, FDIR, EPS).
• Define and manage interfaces with ICDs for spacecraft and ground systems.
• Collaborate with customers and multidisciplinary teams; communicate technical info clearly.
• Support mission operations planning, anomaly resolution, and future mission studies.
• Improve systems engineering processes and MBSE practices across projects.
