Job summary

Advanced Space in Westminster, CO is seeking a Systems Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to support missions across the full systems engineering lifecycle, from requirements development to verification and operation.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across GNC, ADCS, EPS, and propulsion, help define interfaces and ICDs, and contribute to MBSE practices. The role offers hybrid work with three days in person.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of systems engineering, spacecraft development, or related aerospace field.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong focus on end-to-end system performance and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with system requirements, verification, and validation activities.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and with customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage system requirements for space missions and projects.
• Support verification strategies and ensure alignment with mission objectives.
• Contribute to system integration, testing, and milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
• Participate in subsystem design studies across GNC, ADCS, propulsion, and EPS.
• Define interfaces and ICDs for spacecraft and ground systems.
