Job Summary

The Workday Developer is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of financial and HCM applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the Workday cloud ERP platform. Must have strong financials and HCM experience in one or more ERP implementations and experience with at least one (1) Workday Finance and HCM implementation with solid skills in the Workday toolset while maintaining a rigorous commitment to quality, security, and attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions

• Gather business requirements from our Business Community & management and convert them into technical specifications, including reports creation/analysis for enhanced business analysis.
• Manage and build reports and conduct data analysis.
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate actions for break/fix issues.
• Configure and support Workday Finance and/or other modules like Projects, Timekeeping, or Payroll.
• Maintain data integrity through all data transformations and transmissions.
• Participate in and support prototypes and demonstrations of new functionality.
• Support bi-annual upgrade processes.
• Act as primary support contact with Workday, managing communications with Workday Support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, technical business analysis, or financial reporting.
• Workday Pro certification highly preferred.
• Strong background in Financials or ERP/Workday Financials.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience implementing/supporting Workday Finance and related modules like Customers, Projects, Payroll, or Timekeeping.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data transformation skills, including Workday Prism Analytics.
• Experience with integrations such as Workday VNDLY, Adaptive Planning, or third-party SaaS platforms like Salesforce via Boomi.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to quality.
• Willing to learn new functions and technologies.
• Proficiency in Workday technologies like Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Report Writer.
