Job summary

Manor Independent School District Technology Services in Manor, Texas is seeking a Systems Administrator to oversee enterprise technology systems, security, and lifecycle management across on‑premises and cloud environments for a K‑12 district.

The role requires strong knowledge of Windows Server, Azure, Google Workspace for Education, Jamf MDM, VMware, and security practices, with responsibilities for identity management, backups, patching, documentation, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience supporting and administering enterprise technology systems.
Experience administering server, virtualization, cloud-based, identity and access management, device management, storage, backup/recovery, and enterprise application environments.
Experience in K-12 or similarly complex enterprise environments preferred.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain district enterprise systems, servers, cloud services, virtualization, storage, and related infrastructure.
Administer Azure, M365, Entra ID, and Google Workspace environments, including configuration, security, licensing, access, and related services.
Administer identity and access services, authentication, SSO, MFA, and account provisioning processes.
Plan, test, coordinate, and deploy OS updates, application updates, patches, and security patches to district-managed devices.
Develop and maintain technical documentation and provide advanced technical support to Technology staff.
