Job summary

USO is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented strategist to support enterprise planning and execution. The role involves coordinating inputs from across functions, preparing materials for senior leaders, and helping translate strategy into action in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.

The position reports to the SIPMO and requires in-person work in Arlington, VA with a focus on delivering executive-ready analyses and recommendations to guide major initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supporting enterprise strategy, transformation, or large initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree required; nonprofit or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support development of the enterprise strategic plan with research and synthesis.
• Organize cross-functional inputs into summaries and draft leadership recommendations.
• Prepare executive briefings, board materials, strategy documents, and presentations.
• Track progress, identify risks, and ensure alignment across workstreams.
• Develop executive-ready materials for senior leadership meetings and board updates.
