Job summary

Motional seeks an analytically minded professional to directly support the Chief of Staff and executive team in driving key strategic initiatives from our Boston office. This high-visibility role requires coordinating cross-functional projects and managing critical communications to stakeholders and the Board.

The ideal candidate blends a technical foundation with proven strategy or PMO experience to drive complex initiatives and improve organizational processes, with four onsite days per week

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a fast-growth environment, ideally in strategy consulting, PMO, or an internal strategy role.
• High autonomy in a dynamic setting, ability to work with limited information and make sound judgments.
• Technical background with engineering or data-analysis understanding.
• Proven project management skills, coordinating multiple stakeholders from inception to completion.
• Strong analytical thinking and clear written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Strategic project coordination and execution across multiple internal teams.
• Lead the coordination, tracking, and communication of high-priority strategic projects.
• Serve as primary cross-functional liaison with department leads, ensuring alignment and removing roadblocks.
• Prepare agendas, presentations, and follow-up docs for internal strategy reviews and steering committees.
• Conduct shareholder communications drafting and editing, and synthesize complex data into concise summaries.
• Prepare executives for critical meetings with timely research, talking points, and insights.
• Partner with the Chief of Staff to manage prioritization of the strategic calendar and resources.
• Identify process improvements to streamline office operations and reporting structures.
• Perform rapid ad-hoc analysis on emerging opportunities or threats when needed.
