Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support enterprise storage customers throughout the technical sales cycle. You will collaborate with customers and the sales team to deliver technical demonstrations, assist with SSD evaluations, and help deploy storage solutions.

The role requires a U.S.-based electrical engineering or computer science background, 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role, knowledge of SSDs and server platforms, with up to 15% travel to locations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise SSDs and storage technologies.
• Experience with hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact for enterprise customers.
• Support the sales team with technical demonstrations and product presentations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend the appropriate storage solutions.
• Assist customers with SSD evaluation, testing, and platform validation.
• Maintain technical documentation and sales enablement materials.
• Represent the company at customer meetings and industry events.
