Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Technical Consultant to implement and optimize enterprise storage across datacenter and cloud environments. You will be a customer-facing, delivery-focused expert responsible for scalable storage deployments, infrastructure projects, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.

The role requires hands-on experience across block and file storage, SAN infrastructure, troubleshooting, and strong collaboration across delivery workstreams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on storage infrastructure delivery experience in consulting or professional services.
• Experience with major storage platforms including Dell EMC PowerMax/VMAX, PowerScale/Isilon, Unity, PowerStore, Pure Storage, NetApp, Nasuni, Cloudian.
• Experience with SAN implementation and interoperability analysis.
• Experience integrating and supporting storage solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in automation scripts and tools (Python/Bash/PowerShell/JavaScript/Ansible/Terraform/Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Implement storage solutions for performance, availability, recoverability, scalability, and operational simplicity.
• Deploy data center and cloud storage technologies across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Design, configure, and deploy SAN infrastructure (Cisco/Brocade Fibre Channel).
• Produce technical documentation and operation procedures.
• Act as technical lead during delivery engagements and escalations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and customer stakeholders to align scope and outcomes.
• Provide post-implementation knowledge transfer and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Support junior team members and contribute to delivery quality and customer satisfaction.
