Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Technical Consultant to implement and optimize enterprise storage across Datacenter and Cloud environments. You will deploy scalable storage solutions, guide projects, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams. Travel throughout the US is required.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with major storage platforms, SAN infrastructure, and cloud integrations, plus scripting/automation skills. You will mentor others and contribute to delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Hands-on enterprise storage delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or complex customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement storage solutions across on-premises and cloud environments for performance, availability, recoverability, scalability, and simplicity.
• Deploy data center and cloud storage technologies including PowerMax, PowerScale, PowerStore, NetApp ONTAP, StorageGRID, Pure, Nasuni, Cloudian.
• Design, configure, and deploy SAN infrastructure including Cisco and Brocade Fibre Channel switching; analyze interoperability across arrays, hosts, and switches.
• Support replication and storage continuity technologies such as SRDF, SyncIQ, Pure, SnapMirror, Zerto.
• Develop technical documentation: designs, implementation plans, procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Act as technical point of contact during delivery engagements, status meetings, cutovers, and escalations.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, account teams, and customer stakeholders to align scope and outcomes.
• Provide post-implementation knowledge transfer, root cause analysis, and improvement recommendations.
• Contribute to delivery quality and customer satisfaction while mentoring junior team members.
• Stay aware of storage, cloud, and infrastructure trends and suggest practical improvements.
