Checkout.com is seeking a talented Solutions Engineer to join our Revenue organization. Reporting to the head of Solutions Engineering for North America, this role blends pre-sales and implementation work and offers visibility with enterprise merchants.

The role is based in NYC, Atlanta, or San Francisco with a 3-day in-office hybrid model. Visa sponsorship and relocation are not offered at this time.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payments industry experience.
• Strong technical background from education or professional work experience.
• Direct experience in Sales Engineering, Implementation Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Architecture.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills with external stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of API-based integrations, REST/JSON APIs, and Postman.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical lifecycle from pre-sales to go-live support.
• Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
• Investigate and understand enterprise needs to propose tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Finance teams to shape roadmap.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and output quality.
