Jobtailor in Syracuse, NY seeks an experienced Enterprise Salesforce Specialist to design, develop, and maintain integrations across Salesforce and MuleSoft.

You will translate business requirements into scalable data models, contribute to architecture, and ensure security and governance while supporting CI/CD and documentation.

Qualifications

5 to 7 years in enterprise application development, systems engineering, or platform delivery roles.
Strong Salesforce development and administration experience.
Hands-on MuleSoft or similar middleware and API development preferred.
Experience supporting integrations across CRM, core systems, and data platforms in a regulated environment is desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred.
Certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer, Administrator, or Integration Architect may be considered.
Proficiency in Salesforce, including Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control, and Agile delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance enterprise Salesforce solutions.
Translate business requirements into scalable data models and technical solutions.
Contribute to solution architecture decisions aligned with enterprise standards, security requirements, and long-term sustainability.
Configure and extend Salesforce Financial Services Cloud capabilities.
Design, build, and support MuleSoft and API integrations across enterprise systems.
Develop and maintain integration patterns, data mappings, and system connectivity standards.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of data flows across Salesforce, core systems, and other enterprise platforms.
Perform Salesforce platform administration, including user management, security configuration, and environment governance.
Provide Level 2/3 support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement timely resolutions.
Monitor system performance and identify optimization and stability improvements.
Develop and execute unit, system, and integration testing.
Participate in CI/CD, version control, and structured release management.
Adhere to change control, security standards, and data governance policies.
Produce and maintain technical documentation.
Partner with stakeholders, analysts, and architects to refine requirements and identify improvements.
Mentor junior team members and advise on platform capabilities and best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Strong experience with Salesforce development and administration
Hands-on experience with MuleSoft or similar middleware platforms and API development is strongly preferred
Experience supporting integrations across CRM, core systems, and data platforms in a regulated environment is desirable
Candidates with a combination of relevant experience and transferable skills are encouraged to apply
A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred
In lieu of a degree, industry-recognized certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer, Administrator, or Integration Architect certifications may be considered
Candidates with equivalent formal certifications or professional experience are also encouraged to apply
Proficiency in Salesforce, including Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, and Flow
Experience with enterprise integration patterns, API design, and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft
Understanding of data modeling, system integration, and data governance principles
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems, and Agile delivery methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within defined timelines
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation
High level of accountability, professionalism, and collaboration
Ability to perform the stated physical requirements, including occasional lifting/moving of up to 25 pounds
