Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring a Salesforce Developer to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions using Agile methodologies. You will build applications with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, and Salesforce APIs, across Sales/Service/Experience Cloud and more.

Responsibilities include integration with enterprise systems via REST/SOAP, configuring declarative solutions, and participating in architecture, reviews, and release planning.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL/SOSL.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications via REST/SOAP.
• Experience with DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery.
• Knowledge of Salesforce governance, platform limits, release management, and scalable solution design.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Apex, LWC, automation, data, integration, deployment, and platform performance issues.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Salesforce Administrators, Salesforce Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, system analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, release readiness, and production-support activities.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and user-acceptance testing.
• Use Salesforce DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment quality and release reliability.
• Contribute to development standards, reusable components, coding guidelines, knowledge sharing, documentation, and mentoring.
• Research and implement emerging Salesforce technologies, platform releases, and AI-assisted development tools.

• Configure and customize Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and related platform capabilities.


• Implement declarative solutions using Flow, validation rules, custom objects, record-triggered automation, approval processes, and platform configuration.


• Develop integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, Platform Events, middleware, and event-driven architecture patterns.


• Participate in solution architecture design, code reviews, technical documentation, release planning, and platform optimization activities.


• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce designs.

Requirements

• No degree required.


• 2-4 years of experience in Salesforce development, required.


• Hands-on experience developing, configuring, testing, and deploying solutions on the Salesforce Platform.


• Knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, Salesforce data modeling, and Salesforce security concepts.


• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications, APIs, middleware, identity providers, and external systems.


• Understanding of Salesforce governance, platform limits, release management, and scalable solution design.


• Experience with DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery, and enterprise software development practices.


• Salesforce certification is a plus, but not required.


• Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Experience Cloud, or related Salesforce certifications preferred.
