Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design and deliver enterprise Salesforce solutions. You will work on APIs and integrations, prototyping, testing, and demonstrations for users, while supporting deployments across environments and ensuring security and compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in enterprise Salesforce projects, Salesforce declarative customization, and relevant certifications are preferred. Active clearance is required or interim clearance acceptable.

Fluent in Salesforce git merges with conflict resolution

App development using Salesforce declarative capabilities
Active Secret or higher clearance; interim acceptable
Certifications preferred: Advanced Developer DEV 501, Platform Developer I

Job description

• Perform application development, prototyping, testing, and capability demonstrations to users
• Perform code merges, resolve conflicts, and deploy repositories to sandboxes and test environments
• Assist with deployments to higher environments and production
• Build custom applications using Salesforce declarative customization capabilities, including flows and App Builder
• Design solution recommendations and modernization roadmaps using Salesforce Platform capabilities and customized solutions
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, and customers to architect Salesforce solutions
• Design and develop business functionality using Salesforce CRM/CX technologies
• Perform fit-gap analysis across Salesforce clouds, AppExchange tools, and Salesforce Platform capabilities
• Document, maintain, and govern Salesforce solutions throughout their lifecycles
• Address Salesforce platform security and compliance requirements, including Section 508 and FISMA
• Design and develop APIs and integrations between Salesforce and external systems
• Ensure business requirements are met through proper testing and monitoring of performance and security requirements

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years’ of experience or Master’s Degree and 3 years’ of experience
At least 3 years’ direct experience in Agile software development lifecycle
At least 2 years of experience in development of enterprise-level Salesforce projects throughout implementation lifecycles with demonstrable success
Fluent in performing code merges of Salesforce git repositories, including conflict resolution
Experienced in deploying repositories to sandboxes and test environments
Experience writing Visualforce, Apex classes/controllers, triggers, SOQL, and SOSL
Proficiency in Data Loader, Workbench, Salesforce Platform IDE, and integrations of third-party tools with Salesforce
Experience designing, building, and implementing custom applications using declarative customization capabilities of the Salesforce Platform
Active Secret or higher clearance; interim clearance acceptable
Certified Force.com/Salesforce Platform Advanced Developer (DEV 501) preferred
Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or equivalent experience preferred
Experience developing/deploying applications written in open languages on Heroku and integrating with Salesforce Platform preferred
