Job summary

Metagenics in Jersey City, NJ, seeks a Principal Solution Architect to own the end-to-end architecture for ERP, ecommerce, data, and AI, guiding delivery and internal teams across the enterprise.

This hybrid role reports to the CTO and requires deep hands-on architecture across Dynamics 365, Shopify, data platforms, and secure integrations, while aligning with governance and security standards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise technology and 5+ years as senior/principal architect at a global company.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 at scale across multi-country deployments.
• Experience architecting modern ecommerce platforms (Shopify preferred).
• Strong integration architecture knowledge (iPaaS, API-first design).
• Experience with modern data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Knowledge of generative AI architecture, RAG, and guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise reference architecture across ERP, ecommerce, data, integration, and AI.
• Set patterns, standards, and selection criteria for all technology functions.
• Chair Architecture Review Board and sign off on major decisions.
• Advise area leaders across ERP, Ecommerce, Data & AI, Security, IT Ops.
• Define target-state architectures for ERP consolidation and ecommerce convergence.
• Evolve middleware to a governed, event-driven architecture with clean separation.
• Define enterprise data architecture including master data and analytics.
• Partner on security controls and compliance at architecture level.
