Job summary

Optomi, in partnership with a leading insurance provider, is seeking a Technical Solutions Architect to drive the Company's cloud migration to Azure, focusing on COTS and SaaS platforms. This role requires a minimum of 2 days onsite in Short Hills, NJ and hybrid responsibilities between a Solutions Architect and Enterprise Architect.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of application development experience.
• 3+ years of architectural experience.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud platforms, with emphasis on Workday and ERP/HCM systems.
• Experience designing multi-tier systems in high-volume environments.
• Background in SaaS or COTS platforms.
• Ability to mentor and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

This role requires a minimum of 2x/days onsite in Short Hills, NJ location and hybrid responsibilities between a Solutions and Enterprise Architect.

• 7+ years of experience in application development and 3+ years of architectural experience.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, and major platforms, with an emphasis on Workday and other ERP/HCM systems.
• Experience designing and integrating multi-tier systems in high-volume environments.
• Strong understanding with modern architectural patterns, software development best practices, Cloud capabilities, and DevOps initiatives.
• Previous software engineering background, preferably supporting SaaS or COTS platforms.
• Proven ability to mentor and assess technical teams, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
