Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is seeking an Enterprise Services Lead to manage complex IT and enterprise services from initiation to completion in Austin. You will oversee scope, budgets, risks, and governance while coordinating internal teams and external vendors.

The role emphasizes service-level governance, performance oversight, and continuous improvement across the vendor lifecycle, with a focus on timely, compliant delivery in a state government environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in information systems, business administration, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in enterprise IT environments, including hand-on experience coordinating vendors, projects, financial management, or technology deployment initiatives.
• Experience coordinating vendor management, contract performance tracking, and governance across complex programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise service delivery operations across internal teams, service owners, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Serve as the primary operational lead for services vendor management, ensuring vendors meet expectations, priorities, performance standards, and escalation procedures.
• Promote accountability among vendors by documenting commitments, tracking progress, and escalating issues through appropriate channels.
• Develops, manages, and maintains project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, risk and issue logs, status reports, and documentation.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, develop mitigations, and escalate issues to protect scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Complete a required learning path as part of daily duties and responsibilities.
