Job summary
Texas Health and Human Services is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst VI to lead the Enterprise Application Maintenance team in Austin. The role focuses on strategy, technical oversight, and governance for mission-critical applications within IT SSA, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
The Team Lead will drive production support, defect resolution, and release coordination, collaborating with business, development, QA, cybersecurity, cloud services, and vendors to align with
Qualifications
- Experience leading IT teams in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong knowledge of incident, change, release and problem management.
- Familiar with ITIL, DevOps, Agile practices.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise apps and APIs.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational support and continuous improvement of enterprise apps.
- Provide technical leadership for maintenance activities and releases.
- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing.
- Plan and implement automation and modernization initiatives.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure regulatory compliance.
