Job summary

Security 101 is seeking a Commercial Security Service Technician in the Philadelphia Metro Area with 4+ years of experience in servicing commercial security systems, including card access, IP video, and intrusion alarms. The role requires remote diagnostics capability and strong networking knowledge.

The position pays a starting hourly wage of $35.00–$45.00 and is non-exempt, commensurate with skills and experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
• 4+ years experience troubleshooting networked access control and IP video systems on customer networks.
• Experience with enterprise software and remote diagnostics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision.
• Set up diagnostics on LAN using tools like WireShark and network scanning tools.
• Integrate systems via SDKs or APIs as available.
• Troubleshoot and program networked IP video and access control devices.
• Provide fanatical customer service and professional support.
