Job summary

Security 101 is now recruiting for a Commercial Security Service Technician in the Philadelphia Metro Area that has 4+ years of strong experience servicing commercial and enterprise electronic security systems as related to card access technology, video management systems and IP networking skills with certifications or high proficiency working with enterprise software.

We offer starting hourly wages from $35.00 to $45.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years facilitating and programming commercial access control, IP video systems and intrusion alarms.
• 4+ years troubleshooting networked access control and IP video systems, including customer networks.
• Experience with multi-site network support or similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision.
• Set up and perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on a LAN using tools like Wireshark.
• Integrate systems via SDK/API where applicable.
• Maintain high level of customer service during interactions.
