Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Enterprise Application Security Engineer to join the Secure AI team. You will assess and maintain AI tooling security, partner with stakeholders, and help deploy secure AI at scale.

You will identify threats, design processes balancing security and agility, and share knowledge through internal events and research. You will conduct architecture reviews, model threats, and collaborate to drive secure development practices, with a focus on safeguarding enterprise AI

Qualifications

5+ years of security engineering and application security experience.
8+ years for senior/lead levels with app security and pen testing.
Experience with large language models and agentic systems.
Experience with AI security attack surfaces (prompt injection, data exfiltration, etc.).
Related technical degree required.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth security assessments of emerging AI technologies, including architecture/design reviews, code reviews, and penetration tests.
Threat model attacker methods and develop mitigation techniques balancing security with functionality.
Collaborate with engineering and business partners to drive secure SDLC and define security standards.
Research new technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities to support planning and improvements.
Build tools to enable secure use of AI at scale.
