Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Enterprise Application Security Engineer to join the Secure AI team in Bellevue, WA. You will partner with stakeholders and tech partners to assess and maintain the security of AI tooling deployed at scale, identifying threats and designing processes that balance security with business agility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security engineering with Application Security and pentesting
• 8+ years in security engineering with App Security and pentesting
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and agentic systems
• Experience with AI security attack surfaces including prompt injection, data exfiltration, privilege escalation in agents and model supply chain risks
• Understanding of RAG architectures, classifier models, and retrieval/generation pipelines
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills
• A related technical degree required

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth security assessments of emerging AI technologies – architecture/design reviews, code reviews, and penetration tests with remediation guidance
• Threat model attacker methods to develop mitigation techniques balancing security and functionality
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business partners to drive secure SDLC and define security standards
• Research new technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities to support planning and process improvements
• Build tools to enable secure use of AI at scale
