Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Security Engineer to drive secure AI-assisted development, review security for new features, and partner with engineering to mitigate vulnerabilities. You will build tooling for vulnerability scanning and monitoring while supporting compliance as the platform scales.

Ideal candidates have 4–8 years of security engineering experience, familiarity with threat modeling, and knowledge of frameworks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–8 years of experience in security engineering or related field.
• Experience in application or infrastructure security engineering.
• Familiar with security frameworks and threat modeling practices.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tooling.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted development workflows and agent/tool security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for new features and systems.
• Build and maintain security tooling, including vulnerability scanning and monitoring.
• Partner with engineering teams to remediate vulnerabilities and harden systems.
• Support compliance and audits as the platform scales.
