Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Security Engineer with deep Salesforce platform knowledge to build tooling that secures Salesforce deployments across AWS.

You will design, code, and ship security tools on AWS infrastructure and Salesforce platforms, while partnering with SecOps and security teams to raise security maturity across service owners. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 4+ years hands-on Salesforce platform experience.
• Proficiency with SOQL for data extraction and security detection.
• Experience building security tooling on AWS/Salesforce platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated security scanning and evaluation capabilities for Salesforce org configurations.
• Identify security risks in profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, connected apps, session settings, and Apex code.
• Develop detections for configuration changes that introduce security risk and escalate findings to owners.
• Interpret security findings with service owners and help implement secure configurations.
• Write and refine security evaluations that measure operational maturity across the Salesforce fleet.
• Create customer-facing guidance, documentation, and training on Salesforce security findings.
• Collaborate with Amazon security teams to translate security requirements into Salesforce patterns.
• Stay updated with Salesforce releases and AI features to adapt tooling.
• Support security reviews, vulnerability analysis, and incident response when Salesforce expertise is needed.
