Job summary

Marvin seeks a Compliance Specialist to administer enterprise transportation compliance and non-manufacturing safety programs across offices, warehouses, field service, and drivers. You will manage day-to-day activities, maintain regulatory documentation, and partner with Safety Managers to ensure policy adherence.

This role requires 3+ years in safety/compliance, a related bachelor's degree, and relevant certifications or willingness to pursue; travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in safety, compliance, transportation operations, or related operational safety support.
• Bachelor's degree in transportation, safety, business, or related field.
• Professional certifications such as ASP, OHST, CHST, TSP or willingness to pursue certification.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety-related activities with Transportation Safety Managers and Safety Leaders.
• Administer elements of enterprise non-manufacturing safety programs across offices, warehouse, field service, OTR drivers, and other environments.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections, audits, investigations, risk assessments, and hazard identifications.
• Develop safety initiatives to reduce risk and improve performance.
• Monitor compliance with safety policies and standards.
• Manage corrective-action tracking and follow-up activities; identify compliance gaps and recommend actions.
• Develop reports, scorecards, and dashboards for leadership review.
• Analyze KPIs related to safety, incidents, and training; identify trends and follow-up needs.
• Provide guidance on established safety programs and procedures.
• Coordinate new safety initiatives and compliance processes.
• Represent programs on enterprise safety committees and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
